Organisation Overview:- Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee, is a organisation which has the authority to control and recognise the Polytechnic Colleges and Industrial Training Institutes in the State of Uttarakhand. This board has established in the year 2003 under Government acts. The admissions for the affiliated institutions will be carried out by the board by means of entrance exam to choose over the meritorious candidates. The academic exams also be conducted by this board itself. It offers more than fourteen courses in Polytechnic and several tradesman course in ITI.

Job Overview:- UBTER has released job notification for the recruitment of Clerks to fill up 170 vacancies and 118 vacancies for Stenographers. The education qualification to get the Clerk job the candidate should have a recognised Bachelors Degree, with certified typewriting knowledge and for getting into the Stenographer vacancy the candidate should passed in any Degree, with certified typing course in both Hindi and English. Job Details:-

Discipline	Vacancies	Educational Qualification
Clerk	170 Posts	Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university Certified typing knowledge with capable of typing 25 words per minute.
Stenographer	118 Posts	Any Degree from a recognized institution or university. Certified shorthand with speed of 80 words per minute in Hindi and typing speed of 25 Hindi words in a minute in Computer.

Age Limit:- Candidates who are applying should not be more than 35 years and less than 21 years as on January 1st 2012.
