Who is eligible to apply for Income Tax Graduate TRPs Training Program ?

If you intend to take part in the Training Session conducted by the Income Tax Department, then you must full fill the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

Age Limit: Min: 21 years and Max: 35 years

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should posses the Graduate Degree from any of the below mentioned Disciplines.

• Law (LLB)
• Economics (BA/B Sc.)
• Maths (BA/B Sc.)
• Statistics (BA/B Sc.)
• Commerce (B Com)
• Business Administration/Business Management (BBA/BBM)

 Job Responsibilities of a TRP

1. TRPs will have to prepare and file Tax-Returns for Individual and HUF Tax payers
2. Quarterly Filing and Preparation of TDS statement
3. To Register as e-Return Intermediaries

Important Dates:

Starting Date for submitting the Online Application form: 3rd August, 2012

Last Date for Submitting the Online Application form: 20th August, 2012

List of shortlisted Candidates for the Written Exam: On or Before 5th Sept, 2012

Date of Enrolment Exam: 16th Sept, 2012

Selection Procedure:

1) Depending upon the number of applications received, candidates will be shortlisted center-wise on the basis of marks obtained in the Bachelors Examinations to the 10 times the number of vacancies in the particular centre

2) The Shortlisted candidates will then have to appear in the Enrolment Exam on 16th Sept, 2012.The Enrolment exam will be Objective in nature that contains questions in General Aptitude from Reasoning, Mathematics, Comprehension and General Awareness

3) Successful candidates in the Enrolment Exam will have to undergo a Rigorous Training Program.

4) After the Training the candidates will have to go through a assessment exam.After passing the exam, they will be issued a Certificate and Unique Id Number by Income Tax Deptt.

Interested candidates who full fill the above mentioned eligibility criteria are required to apply Online well before the last date ie 20th August, 2012

Application fee: As application fee of Rs 100 will have to be paid either through Online Mode (Through Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card) or Offline mode (Through a Challan from that can be downloaded from www.trpsscheme.com and Depositing the Application fee in the nearest State Bank of India (SBI).

Note: In case of Offline Payment, the Bank will charge Rs 50 as service charges

Online Applications: Eligible Candidates are required to apply Online on the www.trpsscheme.com .On the Homepage, candidates will have have to click on the appropriate Like containing the Online Form.Candidates will have to carefully fill the Online form by following the On-screen Instructions.
